Been doing VBS all week. The kids sure had fun!
Some of the things I didn't expect:
1) Several of the little ones had never heard the story of Jesus' birth. (here in the Bible belt, that's pretty unusual.) Yay that we got to tell them!
2) At snack time they mostly skipped the chips in favor of fresh fruit. Healthy foods FTW!
3) Our water gun fight on Friday night turned out to be more fun than the horses we'd hoped to get.
Barring some new interruption, I'll get back to updates tomorrow or Monday.
