Nearly 4,000 cattle die in heat wave - Nebraska
OMAHA, Neb. (AP)--The number of Nebraska cattle that died in last month's heat wave has grown to 3,800. The Farm Service Agency's Tim Reimer said July 6 that he'd received reports of significant cattle deaths from 23 counties in the eastern third of the state. The numbers are up from the roughly 2,100 deaths reported in eight counties in late June and early July.

One of the biggest varieties of jellyfish in the world, Nomura's jellyfish -- also known as Echizen jellyfish -- weigh as much as 440 pounds and have heads reaching up to about two meters in diameter.
