Yesterday, after church, we loaded up the cars and took the teenagers to Winter Jam in Mobile.

Somewhere around 9-10 thousand people there, at least 80% of them teenagers. Oy! it was a madhouse.

We got there early enough, and paid attention, that we were able to get a spot near the doors to wait. Also, we got on the north side (back) of the building, which is where the good seats were, so we got directly in front of the stage, halfway up, could see everything.

Musically? Not so much my cup of tea, but it was pretty awesome for ten bucks. A couple of the guys that went are even more country-fried than me, but even they enjoyed it.... after the shock wore off.

They had the youth ministers go back and meet some of the musicians, so mom and the pastor got to do that. (yeah, my 56-year-old mom loves this stuff. Go figure, LOL.)
