Quick note to say that I am home from my vacation and had a lovely time.

While I was away--lotsa big quakes in funny places.

Gustav was not as bad as was feared.

And McCain announced his VP pick--Sarah Palin. I like her. I think the liberal whining about her pregnant daughter will backfire-- too many families have had to deal with this.

I'll try to pick up regular posts again soon, but I have much to catch up on.
